Mykonos Museums

The island has three important museums that are definitely worth a visit. The Archeological Museum, with a vast collection of exhibits from the Hellenistic period and prehistoric times, including columns, vases, idols, and statues, the Museum of Folk Art, with various artifacts, furniture, photos, and historical documents that reflect the island’s tradition and lifestyle throughout the 20th century, and finally the Municipal Library that houses rare manuscripts, historical volumes, and an incredible collection of rare Greek coins, which were discovered on the island and are dated back to the 18th and 19th century.
